Bio:
As Chief Deputy District Attorney with the Denver District Attorney's Office for 25 years, Adrienne developed extensive trial skills and courtroom knowledge. During her career, Adrienne did over 100 felony trials including 27 murders and 34 sexual assaults.

Adrienne was recognized in her office as an expert in competency and sanity issues. She helped train both prosecutors and psychologists in the presentation of these complex areas.

Adrienne served on the Denver Pretrial Smart Team which was instrumental in bringing bail/bond reform to Denver and Colorado. This work focused on using risk assessment to determine bond eligibility thus allowing more low-income defendants to be eligible for release on pretrial service.

Adrienne began her career as an associate at Ballard, Spahr, Andrews & Ingersoll. She then did a clerkship with the Honorable Lewis T. Babcock, U.S District Court. After her clerkship, she found her way to the Denver District Attorney's Office.

Adrienne is a proud graduate of the University of Colorado School of Law. During her time at CU, she was Managing Editor of the Law Review, President of her Second year Class and received the Edward C. King Award. She is very excited to be part of the Law School Adjunct Faculty and bring her skills and knowledge to the classroom. Adrienne helped found and serves on the board of Directors for Vive Wellness. This nonprofit seeks to bridge the health equity gap by providing wellness programs to Colorado's low-income communities that are linguistically and culturally challenged. Adrienne also has a dog training business. If you ask her about dogs, plan to have a cup of coffee with her as you won't escape easily.
