Colorado Bar Association Honors Gary Jackson
Colorado Law would like to extend its congratulations to Gary Jackson ('70) for receiving the Colorado Bar Association's Award of Merit on January 6, 2012.
Jackson has long been a leader in the Colorado legal community, and a trememdous asset to Colorado Law. He helped to found the Sam Cary Bar Association, as well as the Sam Cary Scholarship Fund, which gives scholarships to law students at Colorado Law and DU Law.
In addition, Jackson has given his time to the Urban League of Metropolitan Denver, the United Negro College Fund, the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble, 100 Black Men of Denver Inc., Beckwourth Outdoors, and the Sixteenth of May Foundation.
