The Colorado Court of Appeals will hear arguments tomorrow at Colorado Law in the civil case involving CU football player Jeremy Bloom and the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

Justices also will hear arguments in a criminal case. Lawyers will present their arguments from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. in the Lindsley Memorial Courtroom located in the Fleming Law Building.

The event is open to students, faculty, staff and the public.

Bloom, who is a professional skier, is appealing the Boulder District Court's denial last year of his request for a preliminary injunction to prevent the enforcement of certain provisions of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Manual. Those provisions will not allow him to accept ski clothing and equipment endorsements while playing football for the University of Colorado.
