Join the Acequia Project for a CLE and celebration. The Project pairs groups of law students with pro bono supervising attorneys to provide free legal representation to acequias, which are traditional Hispanic irrigation communities located in southern Colorado. The CLE will focus on how to teach students legal ethics in practice while giving back to the community. The Project just completed its longest-running case, and stories from the students and their client will highlight the benefits, both to students and our clients, when attorneys volunteer to supervise a case. Join us after the CLE to speak with current students and supervising attorneys over food and drinks!
The Project will apply for 1 Ethics Credit for this event.
