4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Location Wolf Law, Room 204
For Students

The kickoff meeting for the 2018 Interdisciplinary Ethics Tech Competition will be held Tuesday, January 23, 4:30-5:30pm, in room 204 of the Wolf Law Building. This meeting is MANDATORY for all students competing. We will have pizza!

Please bring a (100% refundable!) $20 deposit to the meeting to officially secure your spot in the competition.

The competition will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018, at the law school. This year's case problem deals with 'fake news' and an online platform's attempts to deal with and verify certain types of content. The first-place team will receive a $10,000 scholarship award, to be divided evenly among the team members. The competition is open to CU Boulder graduate students studying business, computer science, engineering, information science, telecommunications, journalism/communications, and law.

If you are unable to attend the kickoff meeting but would like to participate in the competition, please contact melanie.kay@colorado.edu to discuss alternate arrangements.
