CAREER DEVELOPMENT EVENT!
ABA International Law Section coordinates the organization of Pathways to Employment in International Law for law students, LLM students, and new lawyers. This program is designed to introduce students to the ABA Section of International Law, the plethora of practice areas related to International Law, and the stories of practicing attorneys engaged in International Law. It is a unique forum that brings law students and new lawyers together with experienced legal practitioners who give advice and guidance on gaining practical experience, improving legal and networking skills, as well as sharing their own paths to careers in International Law and exploring opportunities for employment in international law.
Panelists will include:
Susan Brushaber, a Partner at Reinhardt LLP who advises both foreign and domestic clients in Intellectual Property Law and corporate and commercial matters, especially in connection with the formation and management of foreign subsidiaries, strategic relationships, outsourcing and product distribution, procurement and supply.
Trip Mackintosh, a Partner at Holland & Hart who represents foreign and domestic companies and individuals facing criminal or administrative investigation or prosecution under U.S. export control, trade sanction, and anti-corruption laws, working with non-U.S. and U.S. companies throughout the world.
Marcy Stras, a Partner at Cozen O'Connor who represents U.S. and foreign companies for their business immigration needs worldwide, has developed corporate compliance and training programs for the I-9 forms, and represents U.S. and foreign manufacturers, importers, and exporters before various regulatory agencies and committees.
