The William A. Wise Law Library at the University of Colorado Law School is the largest law library in the Rocky Mountain region, and one of the largest in the western U.S. The entrance to the Wise Law Library is on the second floor of the Wolf Law Building on CU's Boulder campus. The library consists of nearly 565,000 volumes and equivalents. Its print collection includes case law from all jurisdictions, statutes of all the states, and the major digests, encyclopedias, periodicals, and texts dealing with American law. English, Canadian, and other Commonwealth materials are almost as complete. Selective foreign and international law holdings provide a basis for comparative law studies. The library is a selective federal government publication depository. The electronic resources available to law students and faculty are extensive, and many are also available to the library's other users. PC-based computing labs and a wireless LAN are available to students and printing is available throughout the law building. The William A. Wise Law Library offers comfortable lounge seating areas, lighted study carrels and tables, and several group study rooms. Information on the library's collection, hours and policies is available through its online catalog (LAWPAC, located at lawpac.colorado.edu) and its web site at www.colorado.edu/law/lawlib.
