Georgette Vigil joined the Colorado Law Advancement team in March 2019. Georgette is a dynamic alumni leader who excels at building relationships to inspire volunteers, staff and leadership to engage fully in meaningful actions that elevate awareness, pride, participation, and support of the institution. Her education includes a Master of Arts in Communication and Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with an emphasis in public relations both from the University of Northern Colorado.
As the executive director of three different alumni associations, she led associations to new heights by championing innovative programs that increased involvement. She considers herself a collaborative bridge-builder. After earning her Master's degree, she worked in community relations and marketing for planned community developers. Georgette and her husband Lee are active in their community and enjoy outdoor adventures with their dog Domo. She is a proud fifth-generation Colorado native.
At CU Boulder Advancement, Georgette is responsible for expanding alumni engagement and outreach in partnership dean of the law school, assistant dean of advancement and the alumni leadership.
