Bio:Matthew Gordon is the managing shareholder in the Denver law firm Laff Gordon Bennett Logan, PC, where his AV rated practice focuses on commercial real estate, lending, land use and zoning issues. Matt represents real estate secured lenders and real estate owners and developers in connection a wide range of purchase, sale, financing, development, and leasing transactions, including complex retail, office, industrial, residential and mixed use developments. Matt represents many well-known retail landlords and tenants, especially restaurant operators.
A Denver native, Matt graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1980 (Bachelor of Science, Finance), The Boston University School of Law (Juris Doctor, cum laude) in 1983, and has been active in the practice of law in Colorado ever since. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and speaks regularly on real estate topics. He served on the Colorado Bar Association Real Estate Section Council and chaired its committee on Continuing Legal Education.
Mr. Gordon has been designated as one of the nation's Best Lawyers in U.S. News and World Report's national peer reviewed rankings.
