Bio:
Kuzi Charamba is the Compliance Manger at One Earth Future (OEF). He handles all of the foundation?s legal and regulatory matters across relevant jurisdictions and provides strategic advice for program development and international expansion. OEF is a privately endowed operating foundation based near Boulder, Colorado, that works to harness the power of networked governance to undermine the drivers of organized political violence. The foundation is structured as a family of semi-autonomous programs each working independently to catalyze systems of collaborative governance around the world through experimental methods.

Kuzi holds a doctorate from McGill University?s Institute of Comparative Law in Canada. His doctoral research focused on global governance and access to remedies for human rights violations in the private military and security industry. More broadly, Kuzi?s research interests are in public international law, international dispute resolution, and Business & Human Rights. Prior to commencing his doctorate, Kuzi obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) with European Legal Studies from King?s College London, a Diplôme in International, European and Comparative Law from Université de Strasbourg (Robert Schuman), and a Master of Laws (LL.M) from McGill University.

For the academic year of 2018/19, Kuzi will be a visiting scholar at the University of Colorado Law School, spending his time primarily trying to convert his dissertation into a book form for publication, and secondarily pursuing his research on the democratization of law and global governance processes through emergent technologies. His dissertation focused on global governance and access to remedies in the private military and security industry.
