Bio:
Bruce L. Plotkin received his B.A. from Wesleyan University in 1987 and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center in 1991. Mr. Plotkin's practice focuses on intellectual property and technology, with an emphasis on privacy and data security, technology transactions, and complex corporate intellectual property matters. A Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US), he is one of the few attorneys who have worked on privacy and data security matters for more than two decades. Mr. Plotkin is a leading practitioner in the field, actively engaging with state and federal regulators and helping clients navigate the rapidly changing regulatory landscape. Mr. Plotkin was an adjunct professor in intellectual property at the University of Denver College of Law for over 10 years, where he taught core courses in copyright, trademark, and patent law, as well as special seminars on intellectual property and technology. Mr. Plotkin is a member of the Denver, Colorado, District of Columbia, and American bar associations, as well as the International Association of Privacy Professionals and the International Trademark Association.
