Jodie Hoke is a graduate of Oberlin College (2002) and Colorado Law (2011). With a background in government and non-profits, Jodie has long specialized in community outreach and client-centered counseling. Jodie began her legal career as a Deputy Colorado Public Defender for the Boulder and Broomfield courts where she represented indigent clients in juvenile and county cases. In 2013 Jodie joined the Colorado Law staff as the Manager for the Clinical Programs, where she worked with students on a wide range of civil and criminal matters and created court-readiness programming. Wanting to apply her client-centered approach to helping students start their careers, Jodie moved to the Career Development Office in 2016 as Director for Judicial Clerkships.

Originally from Connecticut, Jodie spent time in Alaska, Ohio, and Palmyra Atoll before moving back to her husband's home state of Colorado in 2006. Today she enjoys keeping up with her husband and two exuberant little boys, traveling, and reading whenever possible.

Jodie is available to students and alumni for help with their job search, resumes and cover letters, interviewing skills, and counseling on career decisions with a special focus on students interested in judicial clerkship and internship opportunities. In addition to career counseling, Jodie works with the faculty judicial clerkship committee to maximize school-year, summer, and post-graduate clerkship opportunities. Jodie is admitted to the Colorado bar.
