Bio:

Keith M. Olivia is a founder of Roberts & Olivia, LLC, a boutique business law firm representing clients in transactional matters, including formation of legal entities, venture capital and other private placements, commercial lending, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, employment matters, intellectual property matters and other commercial contracts. Roberts & Olivia is located in Boulder, Colorado and serves clients along the Front Range of Colorado and beyond in many industries, including technology, software, life sciences, energy, natural foods, and outdoor recreational. Keith represents clients of all sizes from early stage, start-up companies to established privately and publicly held companies. He previously practiced in the transactional law departments of Hogan & Hartson, L.L.P. and Holme Roberts & Owen, L.L.P. representing clients in their sophisticated transactional matters.

Keith has taught as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Colorado School of Law since 2013 and served as a Supervising Attorney with the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic at CU Law School since 2001. He has also taught as an adjunct faculty member at the Colorado State University in the Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise MBA Program.

Keith has been involved with the Boulder County Bar Association serving as President of the Boulder County Bar Foundation since 2017, a member of the Board of Directors of the Boulder County Bar Foundation since 2015, a delegate to the Board of Governors for the Colorado Bar Association since 2013, a member of the Board of Directors from 2010 through 2013 and as the Co-Chairman of the Business Law Section from 2008 and 2010.

Keith has also been a member of the Board of Advisors of Pledge 1% Colorado since 2011 and the Professional Standards Review Board of the Boulder Police Department since 2015.

Keith received a B.S. in Finance with a Minor in Economics in 1990 from the Pennsylvania State University, Smeal College of Business; a J.D. with honors in 1995 from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law; and an LL.M. in Taxation in 1997 from the University of Florida, Fredric G. Levin College of Law. He served as a Graduate Editor of the Florida Tax Review.
