Bio:

Kristine M. Jackson has served as the Assistant Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid at Colorado Law since 2006, where she is responsible for recruiting and enrolling new juris doctor students. She is a member of the Schools and Candidates Committee of the Law School Admission Council, and is the Immediate Past Chair of the AALS PreLegal Education and Admission to Law School Section. She travels the country recruiting new law school candidates, and is invited to appear on panels discussing the law school application process and financing law school.

She came to Colorado Law from the George Mason University Law School, where she was Assistant Dean and Director of Special Programs. She was primarily responsible for admissions and operations of the Intellectual Property and Law and Economics Master of Laws programs, the Juris Master program, and the international exchange programs, while also assisting in the admission of Juris Doctor students. In fall 2004, she taught the Introduction to U.S. Law class to the international master of laws students. She previously served as Director of Admissions for the eight graduate programs of the School of Public Policy at George Mason University.

Dean Jackson is a 1999 graduate of George Mason University Law School. At Mason, she was a member of the Women's Law Association and participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in the Administration of Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1991. Dean Jackson is a member of the Virginia Bar.
