Bio:

Katie Rabinowitz joined the Colorado Law Career Development Office as the Director for Law Firms after working in the Office of Career Services at her alma mater, Temple University Beasley School of Law. Katie specializes in counseling students who want to pursue a legal career in the private sector, while also assisting employers with their efforts to effectively recruit Colorado Law students. In addition, she has extensive experience and enjoys working with students who may be undecided as to where to start their legal careers - whether it be a first year summer internship or a post graduate position. Katie is a former litigation attorney who started her legal career as an associate in the Philadelphia office of a large international law firm. She primarily focused her efforts on insurance coverage and defense while also taking on several pro bono matters. Katie was instrumental in growing and developing the firm's long-term care insurance practice group, and was actively involved in the firm's summer associate program and its law school recruiting efforts. Katie also started her own business helping lawyers and other professionals combat stress, anxiety, and burnout through movement and mindfulness practices - something she often brings to her student counseling sessions.

While in law school, Katie served as a summer law clerk for the Honorable Mitchell S. Goldberg in United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She also externed for Berkely Compliance Group through Temple Law's Compliance Practicum and was a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research and Writing.

Katie received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado and is excited to be back in Boulder. She enjoys teaching yoga, skiing, hiking, seeing live music, and spending time with her dog, family, and friends.
