Cabell currently serves as Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary for Gevo, Inc., a renewable fuels technology and development company headquartered in Denver. Prior to Gevo, Cabell was a Senior Associate in the Corporate Department of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP (WilmerHale) in Denver and an Associate in the Global Energy Transactions Group at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer and Feld LLP (Akin Gump) in Houston. During law school, Cabell worked at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and Ball Corporation. Prior to law school, Cabell was a Senior Associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) in Denver. Cabell received a J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law; a Master in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business; and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin.
