Carlos Romo is a Director at the Denver law firm Williams Weese Pepple & Ferguson where he focuses on natural resources, environmental, and energy law and litigation. His public lands experience includes work for ski resorts, oil and gas companies, and renewable energy developers. Before moving to Boulder in 2016, Carlos worked for the environmental department in the Austin, Texas office of the international law firm Baker Botts. His environmental experience includes matters related to the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act and National Environmental Policy Act. He is a graduate of Stanford University and the University of Texas School of Law. After law school, he clerked for Chief Justice Wallace Jefferson on the Texas Supreme Court.
