General Description:
This seminar examines issues arising in the theory and practice of international human rights law, focusing on the relation of this area of law to such diverse topics as corporate behavior, climate change, Indigenous Peoples' rights, armed conflict, and international crimes. Students learn critical, theoretical, or practice-oriented perspectives on the selected human rights issues examined in class or chosen by students for individual supervised research. 1-3 credits, letter graded.
