General Description:
Extern credit may be earned for uncompensated work for a sponsor, which may be any lawyer, judge, or organization that employs lawyers or judges and is approved by the Academic and Student Affairs Committee. Work is done under the direction of a field instructor (a lawyer or judge as the sponsor) and a member of the law faculty. Requires a substantial writing component and 50 hours of working time per credit hour. 1-10 credits, pass-graded.
