Estate Planning
General Description:
Deals with the practical application of estate planning principles to a broad array of client situations, some of which present federal wealth transfer taxation issues. Topics include planning for young adults, individuals contemplating marriage, unmarried couples, couples with children, gifts to grandchildren, asset protection, perpetual trusts, charitable gifts, and an overview of estate administration. MANDATORY PREREQUISITES: Federal Estate and Gift Tax. Suggested prerequisites: Income Taxation and Wills and Trusts.
