General Description:
Explores the escalating debates by policymakers, scholars, advocates and industry representatives about the growing spread of tracking and surveillance in society. Debates are being spurred by the pace of changes to technology and particularly of changes to Internet and mobile technology. Practitioners in information privacy law or technology policy must understand the past, present, and likely future, of the technology of privacy. 1 credit, letter graded.
