General Description:
Introduce students to empirical legal scholarship by evaluating existing studies, becoming conversant in basic statistical methods, and beginning to undertake empirical investigations of their own. In short, this course will prepare students to ?think like a social scientist.? But there is more. In this course students will learn how to marshal empirical scholarship specifically to answer questions that are relevant to the law.
