The purpose of this conference is to analyze legal applications of the multi-disciplinary research about subjective well-being.
This conference will bring together leading researchers from such fields as economics, education, marketing, neuroscience, and psychology. Experts will present their research-in-progress or recent research and will also provide an overview of the current state of their fields.
Invited researchers have all performed empirical and/or experimental studies that have applications to law. Invited law professors have applied subjective well-being research to legal issues, such as professionalism and decision-making in various legal contexts. The conference will advance the current scholarship in law and subjective well-being by bringing these academics together in a setting that promotes the cross-fertilization of diverse ideas and multiple perspectives.
