Boulder Denver New Technology Meetup

The 1st Tuesday each month at 6PM, five people get five minutes each to demo something. Five companies each have five minutes to demonstrate their new technology, followed by five minutes for Q&A from the audience. The event is designed to provide a time and place for technologists and entrepreneurs to showcase the new technology developing in Boulder/Denver tech community (geeks, investors, entrepreneurs, hackers, etc). The event is also designed to create networking opportunities for anyone interested in new technology.

Deadline to add a course without instructor signature

WLC First Meeting

The first WLC meeting of the year will be Wednesday, Sept. 3 at noon in Room 204. Lunch will be provided. At the meeting, we go over our big events of the year and appoint our SBA Rep and Bookstore employees. The WLC provides great leadership opportunities for 1Ls at all levels of commitment from small to large. We also welcome male attendees and volunteers!

Making the Switch from MS Office 2003 to 2007 Technology Topics Brown Bag

A university-wide license for Microsoft Office 2007 is in the works, so the Law IT group would like to help you prepare for the transition to take place this academic year. Early adopters will be able to seize the opportunity once the license is secured while everyone else can elect to wait until next summer.

Christopher Greiter from ITS Faculty and Staff Training will be here to present an overview of whats new and share some tips and tricks on effectively transitioning to MS Office 2007. He will talk about the new Fluent Interface including the new Ribbons (replacement for toolbars) and ways to make the transition easier.

The presentation will be one hour long with time for general questions. ITS will be available for an additional half-hour to answer individual questions you may have.
