Bio:
Cortney Price is an Associate Counsel with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Office of Chief Counsel in Denver, Colorado. Since joining USCIS in 2013, Cortney has provided subject-matter expertise in matters relating to immigration law to clients in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho and Montana. Cortney was also previously temporarily detailed as an Associate Counsel with the USCIS Texas Service Center. In 2015, Cortney provided focused legal support for a large-scale civil denaturalization litigation project and was the recipient of the 2016 Field Operations Directorate Vigilance and Integrity Award for her efforts in that role. Cortney has also been the proud recipient of the USCIS Chief Counsel's Focus Team Award for her efforts with the Descamps/Chairez Board of Immigration Appeals Working Group, and the USCIS Field Operations Directorate Partnership Award for the legal support provided in relation to a high-profile national security case.

Prior to joining USCIS, Cortney received her J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. While at the University of Arkansas, Cortney served as a student attorney for the Immigration Legal Clinic for two years, and was the recipient of the Arent Fox/Dale Bumpers Excellence in Writing Award. In 2009, Cortney received a B.S. in Business Administration from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. Cortney is a member of the State Bar of Arkansas.
