Deb worked at Colorado Law from September 2016 through August 2019 as a Program Manager supporting the Dean, the Associate Deans and key standing committees, before taking a Human Resources position in CEAS for several months. Deb served a 3-year term on CU Boulder Staff Council from 2017-2020, serving as Parliamentarian, Elections Committee Co-Chair and then Council Tri-Chair.

Deb returned to the Law School in October 2022 as a Faculty Coordinator, where she supports adjunct faculty and permanent faculty as part of the amazing FC team. She holds a B.A. degree in Psychology from Wellesley College, a M.A degree in International Relations from Yale University, and has completed GIS courses at George Mason University.

Earlier in her professional career Deb worked on high profile deals as a corporate / M&A paralegal and paralegal supervisor at NYC law firms Sullivan & Cromwell, Skadden and Paul Weiss. She's held administrative professional, database manager and training coordinator roles in the fields of telecommunications, insurance and higher education.

Deb was born and raised on the East Coast of the USA -- but now prefers Colorado -- and speaks Spanish and French, along with her native American English. She is studying modern Greek and Italian languages. With Native American, Italian and Dutch heritage she is a staunch advocate and ally for equity and inclusion of all people, and LGBTQIA+ rights. A resident of beautiful Colorado since 2015, she holds a Colorado Gardener certification from CSU Extension Service.

Outside of work, Deb enjoys gardening, cooking, birdwatching, travel, sewing and handicrafts.
