Bio:
Prior to her arrival at the Colorado Law School in 1992, Georgia Briscoe was the Head of Technical Services at the University of San Diego Legal Research Center. During her thirteen years there, she fulfilled her responsibilities while contemporaneously earning two Master's degrees, one in history and one in theology. At CU, she has focused on the administrative and technical services side of law libraries. She was instrumental in bringing an important research tool to the law school, LAWPAC, a state-of-the-art online public access catalog. Active in several campus committees and professional organizations, she has also published extensively on a number of issues including serials management, cataloging, and quality control in online catalogs. Professor Briscoe has traveled extensively with her family, often as part of their mountain climbing adventures. She has climbed five of the "seven summits" (highest point on each continent) and also all 54 of Colorado's 14,000 foot peaks.
