Aurélie Roy lives in Boulder while pursuing a Ph.D in History at Columbia University. Her dissertation examines the evolution of legal practice in the field of Indian law throughout American history, with a particular focus on the post-Civil Rights era. At CU Law, Aurélie works with Kristen Carpenter and Julia Guarino on the National Park Service Project, whose goal is to identify the Park Service's legal obligations to Indian nations in the intermountain region.
