Bio:
Karen Selden's expertise and research interests are focused on cataloging, classification, and metadata creation for legal materials and the digital collections created by the law library. Ms. Selden gives presentations to national and regional law library organizations and publishes articles in library journals on topics such as cataloging Internet-based resources; the future of the library catalog; accessing electronic resources; and metadata creation for digital archives. She was co-author of the 2004 Law Library Journal Article of the Year, "The Catalog vs. The Homepage? Best Practices in Connecting to Online Resources." She is quite active in the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL), and served as Chair of AALL's Online Bibliographic Services Special Interest Section for 2014-2015. Ms. Selden joined the University of Colorado Law Library faculty in 1998.
