Bio:
Adi Ayal teaches law and economics at Bar Ilan law school in Israel. After graduating from Tel Aviv University (Interdisciplinary Program for the Fostering of Excellence, LL.B.) and Bar Ilan Univeristy (LL.M Summa Cum Laude, Ph.D. with highest distinction), he continued towards a second specialization in economics (Ph.D. UC Berkeley). His work combines law, economics, psychology, and philosophy and focuses on issues in competition and regulation with special emphasis on cellular communications (competition, public health, and policy dilemmas).

Outside of academia, he regularly contributes to governmental agencies and courts in providing case-specific analysis as well as general workshops for lawyers and judges (antitrust and corporate law, applications of game theory). He also gives lectures intended for non-professionals, focusing on communication skills, conflict resolution, and creative thinking. On a personal note, he enjoys running, martial arts, exploring nature, yoga and meditation, and having fun with friends and family.
