Bio:
Alexia has worked in Colorado Law's Career Development Office since Fall 2010. From then until Summer 2018, was the Director for Government & Public Interest. Before coming to the law school, Alexia served as a Headquarters Counsel in the Legal Department of the Communications Workers of America, AFL-CIO from 2008-10. For the 11 years prior to her position as CWA Headquarters Counsel, Alexia worked as an Assistant General Counsel for the International Union of Electronic, Electrical, Salaried Machine and Furniture Workers ("IUE") and as a Counsel for its successor, IUE-CWA. Alexia has also held the position of Counsel to the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board. Alexia began her legal career in the General Counsel's Office of the American Federation of Government Employees, AFL-CIO where she served as Staff Counsel and, later, as Assistant General Counsel (Litigation).

Alexia served as a member of the Equal Justice Works National Advisory Committee, and as the union co-chair of the Retention Subcommittee of the Membership Committee of the American Bar Association's Labor and Employment Law Section. She is admitted to the bars of Virginia, the District of Columbia and Colorado.
