The Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative at Colorado Law and Chancellor Philip P. DiStefano are pleased to welcome Regis Becker, chief ethics and compliance officer at The Pennsylvania State University, who will discuss ethics and compliance in the often-challenging higher education environment. Hired by Penn State in 2013 in response to the Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse scandal, Mr. Becker has worked to bring an entirely new ethics and compliance philosophy to the university. During his talk, Mr. Becker will discuss the Sandusky scandal and its aftermath, the more recent fraternity hazing tragedy, and how Penn State has responded via compliance operations, culture change, and articulation of its values.

Mr. Becker's talk will begin at 5 p.m. in the Wittemyer Courtroom in the Wolf Law Building. A catered reception will immediately follow at 6 p.m. in Boettcher Hall.
