"Immigration Federalism & Refugee Resettlement." Stella Burch Elias founded the Advanced Immigration Law and Policy Project at Iowa Law, where she teaches International Law and Immigration Law. About the Colloquium Series: The concept of citizenship connects immigration with studies of race, international human rights, gender, sexuality, criminality and many others. It has been receiving growing attention in many scholarly disciplines. The Citizenship and Equality speaker series will examine the notion of citizenship in recent scholarship spanning law, political science, sociology, philosophy, and history. Each lecture features a nationally-known speaker on a topic related to citizenship and equality. All faculty and students welcome to attend, with or without reading the paper. For additional information or to request the speaker’s paper, please contact Ming Hsu Chen (ming.h.chen@colorado.edu).
