Inclusive Excellence Leadership (Diversity) Series Program #3: Overall, diverse attorneys and women attorneys hold the fewest leadership positions in their firms, organizations, on corporate boards, or on decision-making committees, yet strong diverse leadership is needed in the workplace, in communities, in politics, and in so many other areas. Our speakers, who have held leadership positions in the Colorado state legislature, will share their thoughts and experiences about what it takes to be a "leader" why diversity in leadership matters, and how to build leadership skills in your life now.

Presenters:

Former House Majority Leader Alice Madden (Law 1989) is now the CU Law Executive Director of Getches-Wilkinson Center for Natural Resources, Energy and the Environment;

Former President of the Senate, Ms. Morgan Carroll (Law 2000) is the current Chair of the Colorado Democratic Party.

Sandwiches will be served to those who RSVP to alida.stirts@colorado.edu Bring your own beverage.

The Law firm of Butler Snow has once again graciously offered to sponsor the lunches for each of these IELS Programs.
