Amy Klobuchar is the first woman elected to the US Senate from Minnesota. Her most significant work includes leading national efforts to end human trafficking, introducing bipartisan legislation to help veterans suffering from toxic burn pits, and leading the 2018 farm bill efforts. Before serving in the Senate, Amy headed the largest prosecutor’s office in Minnesota for eight years, making the prosecution of violent and career criminals her top priority.
