"Human Trafficking and the Law" - Please join Christian Legal Society, The Women's Law Caucus, and Boulder Cru on Wednesday, April 12th at 6:00 p.m. in Wittemyer Courtroom for an evening conversation with Rosi Orozco, former Mexican Congresswomen and International Counter-Trafficking Advocate, and Noemi Muñoz, a Human Trafficking Survivor and current law student at Universidad del Valle de México. Ms. Orozco and Ms. Muñoz will describe their personal encounters with the human trafficking industry, and share how they are working to transform laws in Mexico and abroad to prevent trafficking and obtain justice for survivors. Afterwards, guest speakers and attendees from the law school and Boulder community are invited to a meet-and-greet reception from 7:30-9:00 p.m. in Boettcher Hall adjoining the Courtroom. Light appetizers will be provided.
