ELS invites all students to attend a lunch talk with Dan Steur, who will discuss his career path in water law and offer career advice. Dan works at the Colorado Attorney General's Office in the Natural Resources Section, Federal and Interstate Water Unit, focusing on the Arkansas River Compact, Republican River Compact, and Rio Grande Compact. Before the AG's office, he practiced Indian law in Boulder for 9 years. In that time, he represented the Navajo Nation in a general stream adjudication on the Little Colorado River, and a number of other tribes on treaty rights, gaming, and water issues. Dan graduated from CU in 2003. Food and drinks will be provided!
