Chief Littlechild is an honorary chief of the Maskwacis Cree First Nation, a former Senator in the Canadian Parliament and a decorated advocate for the advancement of indigenous peoples’ rights around the world. This lecture will showcase Chief Littlechild’s three decades of service with the United Nations, highlighting his experience as an indigenous lawyer who has worked to advance indigenous peoples’ rights across the globe. He will also speak to the importance of investing in indigenous entrepreneurship in our increasingly global economy.
