Public interest and engagement in U.S. political processes have swelled since the recent Presidential election, with many law students eager to get involved. Lawyers play a critical role in providing pro bono services, educating the public, and defending constitutional rights and protections. However, the rules governing attorney conduct place important restrictions and obligations on law student volunteers. Join Professors Deborah Cantrell and Melanie Kay for a discussion of how law students can meaningfully participate in legal activism and volunteer activities while staying in compliance with the Rules. LUNCH WILL BE SERVED!!
