Judge Patrick Butler, Boulder County District Court Judge, will present ethics and professionalism concepts as applied to specific practice situations. Geared for new and junior attorneys, Judge Butler's presentation will consider issues such as unprofessional conduct, preparedness for litigation, how to deal with bullying lawyers, competence in representing clients, and other ethical issues. It is an interactive presentation designed to draw the audience into the discussion. All of Judge Butler's observations are based on real life habits and mistakes he has seen in his courtroom, so don't miss the chance to get ahead of the game before you even start practicing! LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED.
