Every attorney has had occasion to watch lawyers portrayed in popular culture, now talk about what that means for our profession. Join Professor Deborah Cantrell, alumnus Matthew Morr (’04), and alumn Sarah Wallace (’99) for a panel discussion about legal ethics and professionalism. Utilizing clips from popular culture, the panelists will provoke discussion about the ethical obligations of attorneys under the Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct and the ethical issues highlighted by the selected clips. Moreover, the panel will delve into ways public perception of lawyers and the legal system is expressed in public culture. Generously sponsored by Ballard Spahr LLP, this CU in Denver CLE is open to all. This program, which includes lunch, is free for all Colorado Law students, 2012-2016 graduates and Law Alumni Ambassadors, $10 for all other alumni, and $20 for other guests. Cost of attendance is payable at the door via cash, check, or charge. One Ethics CLE credit has been requested.
