Please join us to welcome Gail Johnson of Johnson, Brennan and Klein for a discussion on false convictions. Gail is nationally renowned for her work as a trial, appellate and post-conviction criminal defense attorney. She has worked on some of the nation’s highest profile cases as well as death penalty work, and is recognized for her diligence working to exonerate those falsely accused. She will discuss root causes of innocence cases as well as her role in the Moses-El case, a Denver case currently postured for re-trial in November, 2016. The media has covered this case extensively. Gail’s experience is noteworthy and we are lucky to have her. This is a perfect opportunity to hear about not only what we do, but WHY we do what we do. Lunch will be provided.
