This is a question that some folks ask because they believe that, with an African American president, the passing of the Marriage Equality Act, a woman running for president, etc., surely the need to advocate for greater diversity and inclusiveness no longer exists. Yet according to Bureau of Labor statistics, the legal profession is the least diverse profession compared to architects, engineers, accountants, and physicians and surgeons. There is more work to be done.
