Law School Success: The First Month

This event has ended.

When Monday, August 29, 2016
2:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Location Room 207
For Students

This is the first in a series of optional workshops designed to support you as you learn what is expected of you as law student. In this session, Professor Amy Griffin, Senior Director for Student Success Jennifer Sullivan, and upper-level law students will try to answer the questions most frequently asked by new law students. For example, how can you read and brief cases more efficiently? How does preparing for class differ from preparing for exams? How should you take notes in a law school class? What is an outline and should you be working on outlines now? Should you be using study guides, and if so, which ones? Come hear answers to the questions you may not know you have – or are too afraid to ask.
