Lunch will be provided. Hope to see you there! The panelists: Brandt Milstein represents workers in class action wage and hour cases, with an emphasis on the wage rights of immigrant workers. Fluent in Spanish and recognized as a Super Lawyer Rising Star, Brandt has great success in recovering unpaid wages for the working poor. Beth Ann Lennon is an Associate in the Labor & Employment Practice Group at Sherman & Howard, where she represents employers in a wide variety of labor and employment law matters. Before joining the firm, she spent two years clerking for the Honorable Paul Olson in Anchorage, Alaska. Beth is a 2012 graduate of Colorado Law. Paul Maxon is widely recognized as one of Colorado's best plaintiff's employment lawyers. His many precedent-setting and highly publicized cases include: Boyer v. Healthgrades, where he persuaded the Colorado Supreme Court to lower the standard for employees sued by their employers to assert abuse of process counterclaims; Basevitz v. Fremont, in which he forced the removal of a evangelical church from a public school, and Kennedy v. Colorado RS, where he persuaded Colorado's federal district court that employees can simultaneously pursue tort claims and damages under the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act. In addition to his Boulder-based practice, he is also adjunct faculty at CU Law.
