This event has ended.

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Location Room 300
For Public; Faculty; Staff; Students; Alumni

Three successful Colorado Law alums return to discuss the tricks of navigating even the most challenging legal office cultures and hierarchies. We will cover topics such as appropriate office behavior and communication styles, how to question, raise concerns, or offer feedback to "higher ups," how to request help or feedback (even when your boss is too busy!), how to deal with difficult or overly demanding office personalities, how to supervise others, how and from whom to request reference letters, how to take initiative without stepping on toes, how to submit your best work, and the soft skills that will help you become an office favorite. Remember, EQ is often more important than IQ! We'll help you master the EQ part so that you leave a lasting, positive impression in every type of workplace.

FOOD PROVIDED! If you can, please RSVP to melanie.kay@colorado.edu so that we can get an accurate lunch count.
