The Career Development Office is pleased to invite all three classes to attend the 5th Annual JD Pathways career conference on January 8, 2016. This day-long, conference-style event is designed to educate and inspire Colorado Law students about their career options.

JD Pathways will begin at 9:00 AM on January 8, the Friday before spring classes begin. The agenda can be found below. Students MUST RSVP through CDOnline by December 30 to participate in any portion of JD Pathways. Attorneys interested in attending, please contact Asst. Dean Todd Rogers for more information.

Mock interviews will be scheduled in the CDO interview rooms and other rooms in the Wolf Law Building from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., 12:00 - 1:00 p.m., and 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Students will interview with an attorney for 20 minutes, and will receive 10 minutes of live feedback. To the extent we have cameras available, interviews will be taped so students can receive additional feedback at a later date from a CDO counselor. To participate in a mock interview, please RSVP for "JD Pathways Mock Interviews" in the Events/Workshops section of CDOnline.

A Strong Interest Inventory assessment will also be available from 9:00 - 9:50 a.m. The Strong Interest Inventory assessment is one of the world's most widely respected and frequently used career planning tools and this session will extend the inventory to legal and law-related careers. Participants need to complete a 20-minute, online assessment before the session. To participate in the Strong Interest Inventory assessment, please RSVP for the "JD Pathways Strong Interest Inventory" in the Events/Workshops section of CDOnline. There are 10 spots available and they will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
