We all have "privileges" to one extent or another; however, some have far more meaningful and impactful privileges than others. If you want to foster a more diverse and welcoming law school environment and prepare yourself to become more culturally competent lawyers, then you need to understand what is "privilege." Who has it? How did they/you get it? Why do they/you have more or less than many others? How does one person's privileges impact others? How and when are privileges used to the benefit or detriment of others? How can you make a difference? Come to listen, learn about and share your thoughts about this important and impactful concept.
