Understanding how to handle police contact with tact, honesty and integrity while also protecting your rights is important knowledge in the legal profession. No one plans to be stopped by the police, but it happens. Yes, you are a law student, but do you really know your rights; how to exercise them; and how to avoid criminal charges? What are some of the biggest mistakes law students make when engaged with the police?
Sergeant Adam Trojanowski (alum) of the CU Police Department and Attorney Denean Hill of CU Student Legal Services will share some important advice and insights. Come join us for lunch and bring your questions.
Lunch is sponsored by Butler Snow LLP.
