NLG presents: Let's Talk About Death

Carla Turner, the Executive Director of Coloradans for Alternatives to the Death Penalty, will be coming to discuss the current state of capital punishment in Colorado and the U.S., the drawbacks of capital punishment, and explaining what Attorney General Holder's Moratorium on the use of lethal injection could mean for the future of capital punishment in America. Ms. Turner also hopes to hear from students about their thoughts and questions regarding capital punishment in an effort to have a lively discussion on the issue. This will be an enlightening lunch discussion to commemorate the National Lawyers Guild's Student Week Against the Death Penalty. Lunch will be provided.
